Stephen Morgan, Portsmouth South’s Member of Parliament, has this week launched a competition for local primary school children in the constituency to design his first ever Christmas card as a city MP.
Writing to school children via local headteachers, Stephen said:
“I’m really excited to be able to use one of your fantastic designs for my Christmas card this year! I can’t wait to see all the brilliant designs you come up with.
The card will not only be sent around Portsmouth but will also land on Her Majesty the Queen’s doormat at Buckingham Palace”.
The theme for the competition is Christmas in Portsmouth. All submissions must be made from local schools by 24 November 2017.
An expert judging panel will chose the final designs with prizes for the winner and runner up, with entries displayed locally.
